Playable Factions
The Last Roman offers five playable factions – the brand new RomanExpedition but also the Ostrogoths, Vandals, Franks and theVisigoths – each one featuring its own faction traits and newcampaign starting-position.
The Vandalic Kingdom is threatened by rebellious Sardinia and thelooming Roman danger, while the Ostrogothic Kingdom is hamstrung byits pro-Roman queen and the demands of an unworkable alliance. Bothseek to solidify their borders and make the most of Italy’s richand fertile lands; but Belisarius’ reputation precedes him, andthey know a cornered animal will fight to the last.
For the Franks and the Visigoths, the return of the Romans presentsan opportunity. Both are growing kingdoms, fuelled by youthfulvigour and a thirst for conquest.
